Lag wise, both are the same (I am located in the USA), money wise, I am not sure about how the donation option in the private server differs to the AP in the normal server, I would not either donate or buy AP since most of the things you can get with LP in both servers or just by questing / farming.

I am not a pro gamer of this game, but so far I cannot do a distinction. I thought the 2X loot drop rate in the private was what was making me get OP gear, but although in the normal server is not as frequent, you also get OP gear. I hope this is not late (maybe just 1 year), I just wanted to say I have been playing both the private server and the NA server and both seem quite the same. I'm just curious to whether or not I should play on NA servers published by Aeria or are other servers a better/more-stable deal overall. Then again, I would guess it probably won't differ by all that much considering it's Aus we're talking about here. Or is going into other versions such as the Taiwan/HK/JP etc version a better choice?
